This Privacy & Data Policy for Organizations (the “Policy”) applies to all employers, schools, training providers, unions, government agencies, and any other entities (“Organizations”) that use Trade-Finder.com (the “Website”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) to post opportunities, receive applicant information, or otherwise engage with users on the platform.
This Policy outlines how Trade-Finder.com collects, uses, and manages information provided by Organizations and sets out the responsibilities and limitations applicable to Organizations under applicable Canadian law and platform rules. Use of the Website by an Organization constitutes full acceptance of this Policy and any updates hereto.
1. Scope of Application
This Policy applies to all data, content, and communications submitted by an Organization to the Website, including but not limited to:
- Job and program listings;
- Contact person names, titles, and communication records;
- Logos, trade names, descriptions, and public-facing materials;
- Organization account credentials and usage activity;
- Data exchanged with applicants or students through the Website.
This Policy supplements and does not replace Trade-Finder.com’smain Privacy Policy, which governs our collection of personal information from individual users.
2. Organizational Data We Collect
We collect and retain the following categories of information from and about Organizations:
- Business identifiers (legal name, business number, address, type of organization);
- Representative information (contact name, title, phone number, email address);
- Listing content (job descriptions, program information, images, deadlines, eligibility criteria, compensation or training details);
- Communication data (messages exchanged through the platform, platform support tickets);
- Usage data (login times, listing views, edits, and user interactions).
3. Use of Organizational Information
Trade-Finder.com may use and process organizational data to:
- Publish, display, and promote your listings across the Website and affiliated media channels;
- Facilitate communication between you and student or applicant users;
- Operate, secure, analyze, and improve platform performance;
- Fulfill administrative, legal, or regulatory obligations.
By submitting content to the Website, the Organization grants us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to:
- Display, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, and promote such content;
- Feature your name, logo, and listing data in connection with job alerts, social media, email campaigns, search engine optimization, and platform analytics;
- Retain archived versions of listings and content after their expiration or removal, for compliance or historical tracking.

4. No Expectation of Confidentiality
Organizations are advised that content submitted to the Website is intended for public or semi-public visibility, and therefore:
- Should not include any confidential, proprietary, or sensitive business information unless explicitly permitted in writing by Trade-Finder.com;
- May be indexed by search engines and re-distributed via automated alerts, third-party aggregators, or public APIs;
- May be retained in archived form even after removal from public view, for the purposes of system integrity, legal compliance, or analytics.
Trade-Finder.com does not accept liability for exposure of content that was not properly designated as confidential by the Organization at the time of submission.
5. Responsibilities Regarding Applicant Data

You acknowledge and agree that:

We expressly disclaim any liability for losses, claims, or disputes arising from interactions between Organizations and Website users.
Organizations agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trade-Finder.com from any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from their misuse of the Website or violation of this Policy.
7. Suspension and Removal
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate an Organization’s access to the Website without notice if, in our sole discretion:
- The Organization breaches this Policy or the Terms of Service;
- The Organization posts misleading, unlawful, or abusive content;
- There are complaints or credible reports of misuse of applicant data;
- The Organization behaves in a way that undermines the trust, safety, or integrity of the platform.
We may also take legal action where appropriate and report serious violations to regulatory or law enforcement authorities.
8. Retention of Organizational Data
We retain organizational data:
- As long as necessary to provide and maintain the Website;
- As required to comply with our legal or contractual obligations;
